Another relocation approval

In our last news article we updated on a relocation in Pimlico where a client had used solicitors to act for them in their first attempt at relocating and had been refused at appeal. In this case we had exactly the same situation where a client had already used solicitors to act for them to relocate to a new medical centre in north London and had been refused at appeal despite an initial approval from NHS England. We acted for the client in their second application and NHS Resolution decided to hold an oral hearing to determine the application.

We represented our client at the hearing against several other local contractors who were also represented. This time around the application was approved and our client will be relocating to his new premises at the nearby medical centre within the next few months.

Again – This goes to show that sometimes the NHS refuses applications because the information is considered to be incomplete and they cannot be satisfied on some parts of the regulatory test. Where this happens it is worthwhile considering a second application and not just giving up.
