New Pharmacy for Dartford Under Regulation 18

We are delighted to announce that after an oral hearing, we have secured permission for one of our clients to open a new pharmacy at a new housing development in Dartford. NHS Resolution (the new name for the NHSLA) had previously considered and refused another application at the same site, but approved our client’s application because we were able to provide evidence that had previously not been submitted to the NHSLA. The Oral Hearing Panel visited the site and we represented the client at the hearing. We ere able to demonstrate why the NHS England decision to refuse the application was not properly thought through and should be overturned. The oral hearing panel members unanimously agreed that our client’s application should be approved as it would be of significant benefit to patients and those who lived or worked in the new housing and retail development even though a planned surgery had not yet received approval to go ahead.

Our client, a regional multiple, is planning on opening the pharmacy by the end of 2017 and has already secured premises.
