We are pleased to announce that our run of new contract successes has continued and we have secured a new pharmacy contract for one of our clients in Cambridgeshire.

The application raised particular issues about rural locations and whether the local dispensing doctors would be allowed to retain their dispensing rights to patients living within 1 mile if our client's pharmacy was to open. In normal circumstances GP dispensing s protected if the population within 1 mile is less that 2,750 people, but in this case we argued that this rule should not apply and the Oral Hearing Panel accepted that our interpretation of the Regulations was correct.
