1. Internet Pharmacy Applications

Since the Regulations on approving Internet Pharmacy applications were tightened up we have been receiving more and more instructions on this type of business.

2. New Medical Centre and Pharmacy in Kidderminster

Rushport worked with the developer, doctors and a pharmacy company to secure permission to open a new pharmacy within the new primary care centre in Kidderminster.

3. Pharmacy Lease Negotiations

Rushport was instructed by a leading national pharmacy operator to negotiate terms with a GP practice and healthcare investment company landlord and secure a lease over pharmacy space within an existing medical centre.

4. Relocation of Standard Hours Pharmacy to the Site of a 100 Hour Contract

Rushport has acted for a number of owners of 100 hour pharmacy contracts who wish to purchase a standard hours / 40 hour pharmacy which is close by and try to relocate the 40 hour contract to the same site as their 100 hour contract in order to be able to reduce their opening hours.

5. New LIFT Development and Pharmacy Tenants

Rushport acts for a number of LIFT Companies across England. Our service to LIFT clients involves Rushport acting alongside the Project Deliver Team, starting at the early project conception stages and includes making recommendations on land purchases, advising on pharmacy licensing and the NHS Regulations, consideration of key financial terms and assisting in lease negotiations.

6. New Pharmacy Opposite a GP Surgery in Romsey

We identified a need for a new pharmacy to the north east of Romsey where there was a substantial GP practice with over 10,000 registered patients, but no provision for pharmacy services unless patients accessed the town centre.

7. Large LIFT Developments

Rushport was selected to secure a pharmacy tenant on behalf of a LIFT Company for a new medical centre which was to be a key part of the overall regeneration of a deprived, inner city location. Three GP practices that were operating from sub-standard premises were to transfer to the new development, which included social housing, and retail alongside social and NHS services.
